Merry Christmas to all! I’m a lucky girl. Year after year, I get to spend this day with the most important people in my life, and this year was no exception. And every year, I get spoiled. And every year, it’s the thoughtful and useful gifts, and not necessarily the expensive ones, that really stick in my memory.

This year I got something I’m really excited about – a knitting bowl from Red Hot Pottery on Etsy! I had never heard of these before (I know, I know, for an avid knitter, I’m a bit clueless – did I ever mention that I just learned how to cable, after a whole decade of knitting?) and it blows me away how quickly it’s solved my running-away-yarn problem. So, I took it for a test drive with the new West Coast Arm Warmers I’m working on (they’re for me this time – maybe I’ll make another pair one day and put them up for sale) and took a few quick photographs in my studio.
